Horiens, through Risk Labs—its risk analysis laboratory powered by artificial intelligence—conducted a predictive study assessing the variation in the average monthly per capita cost of a representative sample of insured individuals with chronic conditions. The study concluded that:
- Women enrolled in the program showed a significant reduction in healthcare costs.
- Insured individuals under 60, regardless of gender, also achieved positive results.
- Men over 60 did not show a proportional reduction in hospitalization severity, although outpatient utilization increased, revealing an opportunity to improve engagement strategies for this group.
These findings indicate that the investment helps reduce medical costs and disease progression, reinforcing the initiative as beneficial for employees and for maintaining policy balance. Furthermore, the analysis suggests that the earlier eligible participants engage in the program, the better the conditions for effective health management.
